St.Patrick's Day!

The Gaels of the old green Island
The greatest men for sure
For in the hills of great old Ireland
There live men whose hearts are pure.

The Lads and Lasses sprightly true
No mischief do they make
But when the Leprechauns ensue
There’s trouble in the make.

They love the whisky and the ale
A flagon’s price is right
For them to resurrect an ancient tale
And keep your mind all night.

They’re ones who know the ways of speech,
Of conversation blessed
But the stories told in song
Are the ones that they tell best.

Ireland a magic land
Dublin a magic town
For there did God reach down his hand
And flip it upside down.
